Travel Award

A certain number of students who will join ICAR2023 in person will be selected as recipients of the travel award (15,000 JPY). Students who have completed early registration are eligible for application. Eligible students can apply from the registration site with a motivation letter to explain why they have decided to join ICAR2023. The deadline will be January 31st. Awardees will be selected considering the diversity and motivation.

Presentation Award

One of presentations, picked up from the abstracts, in each concurrent session will be selected as Presentation Award. Students and early-career researchers (both in-person and online participants) are eligible.

EMBO Poster Prize

The EMBO Journal editor, Dr. William Teale, will select a prize winner from poster presentations at the conference. The winner will receive the certificate at the closing ceremony and the funds after the event.

NAASC Funding

NAASC is providing funding for 15 attendees and people can join the new Arabidopsis Community group if they are interested.
